Ian is going into his 4th year of studies in Civil Engineering at the University of Toronto. His research interests include quantitative filter forensics (QFF) and indoor air quality (IAQ). His research focuses on the extraction and particle distribution of dust from two bacterial filter elements that were taken from the International Space Station in 2022, as well as quantifying concentrations of fungal and bacterial species contained within various particle sizes.
