Catherine received her bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a minor in Sustainable Energy from the University of Toronto. She is currently pursuing a Master of Applied Science with a research interest in investigating the impact of indoor air quality on the cognitive function of building occupants.

Grid-Interactive Smart Campus Buildings
This project aims to develop a novel and scalable building energy modelling and optimal control framework by using modern AI techniques to optimize campus building HVAC operations and transform campus buildings into grid-interactive smart buildings.
