The Indoor Environmental Quality Lab is a microbiology focused CL2 laboratory located in GB412A. This lab examines bacteria, fungi, viruses, etc. found in indoor environmental samples (dust, filters, swabs) as well as active microbial growth on materials for laboratory testing. The space is currently under renovation, however it will include a biosafety cabinet, centrifuge, fridge, freezer, incubator, qPCR and a cutting edge dPCR machine for quantitative purposes.
