Cassandra received her Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mercer University and her Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University. Her research investigates indoor environmental and air quality within residential buildings, with an emphasis on energy sustainability and low cost solutions.

This project will characterize how residents cope with extreme heat and then develop and test low-cost, low-carbon strategies to address overheating risk.
